I'm not sure if this is my favorite Springsteen song, but it is near the top of the list. At least in the top 10!

My god, if I had to pick a favorite Springsteen song-- at least I can pick a favorite Dylan song (Like A Rolling Stone).
Backstreets? Prove It All Night? Spirit In the Night? Lost In the Flood? Darkness on the Edge of Town? Johnny 99? Point Blank? And then, when you think you've chosen, you hear "Fade Away" on satellite radio and remember slow-dancing with your ex-girlfriend at a party in college and realizing "Now baby I dont wanna be just another useless memory holding you tight/Or just some other ghost out on the street to whom you stop and politely speak when you pass on by" captured exactly how you're feeling at that moment. Love that Springsteen.
