I do not know, but the radioactive death rays seem to originate in Walla Walla.

No really, what is is it? the symbol in the circle is either a person in the lotus position holding a sword or tray over their head, or one of those Corps of Engineers castle thingies. there are some words along one of the rays on the left, to fuzzy to see.
Sorry, cell-phone camera. The figure is the first possibility the first commenter mentions. These stickers show up on freeway onramp signs and such places here in Seattle and my leading guess is that they represent guerrilla marketing efforts by some skateboard or snowboard gear company. I also recently saw someone wearing a green hoodie with the image, but I didn't feel like approaching him to ask what it signified.
The other sticker that has baffled me for years, seen only on cars, is a bear cub silkscreened in blue on a white background. Any clue about that one?

I didn't even realize it was WA at first...maybe it's related to Hanford? Maybe its a Corps of Eng. thing. Who knows. Weird for sure.
It's obviously a map to the real location of the Holy Grail.

Maybe it is some sort of old-school or alternative Chicago Cubs logo?
Or is it some other sort of bear cub?
Good god-- I need to pack my radiation suit next time I go to Seattle!
The answer
Snowboard clothing (quel shock!) and ornamental painted BMW hoods (now that's random)
